01 · The gap

The gap on the ground

Ukraine has shown that ground robots now carry the most dangerous work on the modern battlefield: moving supplies forward and bringing the wounded back. It has also shown that what matters most is cost, volume and speed.

Today's options sit at two extremes. Expendable robots are cheap, but they are not built to Western standards. Medium and heavy platforms meet those standards, but they cost too much to buy in the numbers modern conflict demands.

MV-1 is built for the space in between. It is a light tactical UGV built to Western standards and priced for volume.

ExpendableCheap and fast. Not built to Western standards.

02 · Why MV-1

Four advantages, by design

01

Commercially derived

Built on a production electric vehicle chassis, with automotive suppliers, tooling and quality from day one.

02

Software-defined

Shepherd OS turns the vehicle into a capability that improves over the life of the fleet.

03

Trusted supply chain

NDAA-compliant sensors and compute from Canadian and allied suppliers.

04

Interoperable

Designed to work with allied command and control, including TAK.
